ATTORNEY PROFILE

Melissa Ephron

Melissa Ephron is an associate attorney at Trammell PC and specializes in mass tort litigation. Melissa has a long history of advocacy work, beginning at the age of 17 when she wrote her first book. Nourishment was published by Health Communications in 2011 and sheds light on the nefarious effects of psychiatric medications on America’s youth. The book also chronicles the dearth of resources extended to children with learning disabilities and neurological differences, especially in an academic space.

Melissa’s passion for advocacy and desire to help others lead her to obtain a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of St. Thomas where she graduated summa cum laude and with a 4.0 GPA.

During her undergraduate career, Melissa was a contributing author to the Not Alone series, a book published by Civitias Press, which provides guidance for individuals struggling with neurological differences. During this time, she also penned sections for psychology and psychobiology textbooks used in Universities around the world.

Melissa had the opportunity to appear in the movie, Letters from Generation RX in 2012, which discusses the deleterious effects of psychotropic medication on children and teenagers. She has also written numerous journal and magazine articles, has conducted national and international radio interviews and television interviews and has lectured across the country.

Because of her passion for helping others and her desire to implement change, Melissa ultimately made the decision to attend law school. Melissa attended South Texas College of Law where she graduated summa cum laude with a 4.048 GPA and was ranked first in her class.

During her career so far, Melissa has represented clients across the county against large corporations that are responsible for the creation and manufacturing of harmful pharmaceuticals and defective devices. She has helped settle numerous multi-million-dollar cases.

Outside of her professional life, Melissa is married and the mother of three young children plus two dogs. She is an avid equestrian and enjoys baking in her spare time.
